Are any of you planning to see The Punisher over the weekend? I went last night and really enjoyed it. But here's why - as you may have read in the movie reviews, it takes place in Tampa, but was also filmed here too - so I had an emotional and prideful reason to see it. (Tampa looks really good on the big screen! Yay!)
I don't read comic books, so unfortunately I don't have that cred to fall back on to talk about its origins.. If I wasn't from Tampa, it would look like a good revenge action movie to me, but with bad direction and cheesy dialog.
