evidently i have to pay to be on the police message board. nuts to that!

The general and tour folders are free. The only reason why they ask for your credit card for a free membership is so that they keep out the youngin's. They want to make sure that only adults sign up for the board. And it says that if you aren't who you say you are on the card it won't let you sign up at all. Since the board is based out of England and sign up rules states you have to be at least 18 years old or older (excluding the US), that's the only way they can control it.

Plus too, the other folders that you have to pay to see aren't really worth it any way. Most of the people chat in the free sections.

Don't worry. They won't charge your card if you sign up for the free membership.

Agreed, I'm not paying to post for The Police. Maybe a non pay tour forum will start once they tour gets going.

The Police Tour Fan Club would like to announce that The Police have added a new tour date to their European tour. The new date is:

The presale for this show will begin:
Mon. Apr. 16 at 10 am local time.
Tickets will go on sale to the public on Apr. 20.

Mon. Apr. 16 Members-Only Presale @ 10:00 am local time

The Police have just announced a second show for PARIS at the STADE DE FRANCE which will take place on September 30! The first show sold all 80,000 tickets in 90 minutes.

Presale for fan club members starts Thursday April 19 at 10 AM local time!

Looks like Croke Park in Dublin Ireland soldout in just a few hours. Its the largest stadium The Police are playing on the tour with a capacity of 83,500! There are still a few single tickets at the back of the stadium available. Average ticket price appears to be about $125 US which means the Police will gross over $10,500,000 from just this one show. I think there is the possibility they may add another show here but Scotland is really deserving of a show too.

Any new Police rumours other than tickets & dates??

After the Sting solo tour ended about 1 month ago all I've heard about is a rumoured loose band rehearsal in italy 3 weeks ago. There was also book signing in Los Angeles for Andy's autobiography.

Production rehearsals(without Andy, Stu & Sting) and Staging should be assembled by now(Vancouver/Pacific Northwest???)

23.04.07 Fan Club show for thepolicetour.com club members!

The Police will play a FAN CLUB show before they kick off their world tour in Vancouver! - This incredible event will take place on: Sun. May 27 - Vancouver, BC at GM Place @ 7:30 pm local time...
Since we know The Police Tour Fan Club members are by far the band's biggest supporters (and have waited over 23 years to see the band!), this is the band's way of saying thank you to the fan club for their loyalty and patience. This will be an extremely special show as only certain areas of GM Place will be sold, so the venue will be kept as intimate as possible. The only way that you can buy tickets for this exclusive show is through ThePoliceTour.com and by being a member of the Fan Club. Tickets will NOT go on public sale for this show.

The Police Tour Fan Club members-only presale for this show will work as follows:

- The presale will begin on Thur. April 26 @ 10am local time in Vancouver. Head to ThePoliceTour.com Tickets at this time to purchase your tickets.;

- The first day of presales will be reserved for CURRENT MEMBERS ONLY (as of 11:59 pm EST on Sunday, April 22);

- If any tickets remain, a second day of presales will be held the following day (April 28 @ 9am local time), for any new members or current members who would still like to purchase tickets, but did not purchase on the first day;

- There will be a 2 ticket limit per member;

- The 2 tickets DO NOT count toward a member's presale code count... so even if you have already purchased tickets for another date, feel free to buy!

- Tickets will all be priced at and sold through Ticketmaster (no bundle packages will be sold);

- Tickets are for reserved seating only;

- All tickets will be Will Call only and need to be picked up in person at the venue on the day of the show beginning at 12 noon (the location of will-call will be provided closer to the show date).

Don't miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to catch The Police gearing up to take on the world and performing for their biggest fans!

You must be a member to participate in this presale.

Important Fan Club Sale Instructions

Our fan club sale system will generate your fan club sale passcode for you when the show goes live. You will not get a passcode before the fan club sales start. We strongly advise that you carefully review the instructions on how to participate in the fan club presales before they start. View these instructions at Ticket Presale Guidance.

To purchase your tickets, please visit the ThePoliceTour.com Tickets page. Tickets for this show are strong in terms of both quantity and quality and we hope that as many fan club members as possible get seats. However, as this is a fan club exclusive, intimate show, tickets are expected to sell out very quickly. Also, The Police Tour Fan Club is not just a ticket club. Joining the Fan Club is not a promise that you will be able to get tickets to a show.

Local Time:

What does 'Local Time' mean? For example: if we say "presales start at 1pm Local Time" and there is a presale in NY, it will happen at 1pm EST and if there is a presale in LA, that presale will start 1pm PST. If you are interested in a presale that is outside your timezone, please make sure to adjust for any time zone difference.
