I did that ticket auction thing for Coldplay tickets and I swore I would never do it again.

I never should have said that

I just heard something about that on the radio. They didn't say if it was a press conference or an actual show

I think you need to go crash the party like the U2 fans did in LA at the start of the tour. You might be able to get in, who knows.

If you would like to vote for the five songs you would most like to see played by the Police this year, you can go here and vote:

http://www.policesetlist.com/

The results of the survey in which you are only allowed to vote once will be presented to the bands management. You can view the results so far to see how your favorite Police songs are doing. You are able to vote for any 5 of the 69 songs that The Police recorded and placed on an album, single, soundtrack, best of, or boxed set.

Thanks for the info STING2

Allegra - I was never really a Police fan, so I've no desire to drive an hour into Hollywood for the 'press conference'. If it's webcast and I remember to catch it, I will.

Now the U2 rehearsal show... I could kick myself for not taking the chance and driving into downtown L.A. to catch it

LOS ANGELES (AFP) - Rock band The Police are to hold a rehearsal session in Los Angeles next week, front-man Sting has announced, fuelling speculation the British supergroup are to re-unite for a world tour.

In a statement on his website, Sting offered 20 tickets for the session which will be held at the legendary "Whisky A Go Go" club in Hollywood.

The rehearsal comes the day after The Police are to perform at the Grammys in Los Angeles on Sunday.

From a private local source I've heard that the group will continue rehearsing in Vancouver until April with and without Sting.

They've already dome some filming of the rehearsals in town - watch for that in the DVD or some fo the promos when the tour is announced.

Don't even ask me to back any of this up. Especially if your a member of the media.
