Ok, it is VERY rap-singerish :D , but WOW at all those diamonds-and the sapphires too

The ring, manufactured by Jostens, features 143 diamonds. There are 42 diamonds circling the top of the ring, to signify the number of years the team went before winning Super Bowl XXXVI.

The Super Bowl XXXVI logo adorns one side of the ring, which is 14-karat white gold and weighs three ounces, believed to be the heaviest distributed to a Super Bowl winner.

The ring also contains the Patriots' logo on top, which is designed with blue sapphires and red garnets. There are also rows of diamonds resembling a football field.

The ring is valued at $15,000.

Wow. I touched a Super Bowl ring once ... have they gotten more gaudy? Because this particular guy won his in the ... early 80s, maybe? And I do not remember that level of flashiness.

Anyway, that's some ring. Josten's made my high school class ring. It didn't have 143 diamonds in it, though. ;)
