good news for chiefs.worth a third & fifth...

bad move for the jets. no qb, rb who may retire, & now no coach.

but on the other hand, Mike Martz is available...
or Jim Haslett,
maybe Mike Tice....the possibilities are endless

No no, I didn't mean on Interference.

I meant in Halifax.

i highly doubt any of those will coach the jets next year.

they'll either be looking at the college ranks or they'll higher from within

WFAN in New York is reporting that Herm Edwards is out as Jets coach. It could become official as early as tonight. The Chiefs and Jets are currently negotiating draft picks as compensation.
According to WFAN's Mike Francesa, Jets owner Woody Johnson is tired of Edwards asking for a contract extension. The team also reportedly isn't happy about some recent leaks to the media. Rumors say that Johnson will let his coach go for a third and fifth round draft pick. That said, it's not good news for a Jets franchise that is already having roster and morale problems. Defensive coordinator Donnie Henderson and offensive coordinator Mike Heimerdinger are both likely candidates to replace Herm.
It amazes me that the Chiefs weren't demanding draft picks from the J-E-T-S to take Edwards off of their hands.
This is a win-win for the Jets. Get rid of one of the worst coaches in recent history and get a couple of free mid level draft picks to boot.

Ok.
But aren't the Pats the closest NFL franchise to Nova Scotia geographically?
It only makes sense that Scotians as well as Newfies should be Pats fans.

Whilest I am admittedly Martz' biggest detractor here, the Rams should be ashamed of firing him this season.
They should have fired him any time over the last several seasons and it would have been fine, but when he misses almost the entire season with heart ailments, then they can him...bad form.

Tedy Bruschi won the Comeback Player Of The Year award today, but he shares it with Steve Smith.

I know Smith had an incredible year, but coming back from a stroke is just a tad different, I'd say.

I don't think Alexander is gonna get it. I honestly don't know out of an elite group of five who will win, but something tells me Alexander won't, even though he deserves it.

I'd give it to Alexander, but don't be surprised if Tom Brady gets a lot more first place votes than some people might expect.
Savvy NFL writers have taken note of how he carried the team through all the injuries...not enough of them for him to win, but I predict he'll finish second in the voting.

Then again they could just give it to Peyton Manning again.

Doesn't KC realize that Herm is just not that good or am I missing something here?
