True enough, and the way the Bengals have been the last two games, that is a very distinct possibility.

Which means the Patriots would go to Denver first, who have had a great year without anyone noticing. But for some reason, they really don't scare me.

Admittedly, they'll probably beat Jacksonville, but when they go to Indianapolis...oh wow, what a glorious feeling that's going to be to see the following statistics:

IND 35 - NE 10
P. Manning (IND) 23/35, 274 Yds, 4 TD, 0 INT
T. Brady (NE) 16/28, 125 Yds, 0 TD, 3 INT

And then I will cry tears of joy, and rub it in all the faces of the multitudes of bandwagon New England fans we have around here.

WOW...someone is SERIOUSLY bitter!!! Do you need a huh?

Oh by the way.....GO PATS

I just don't understand how someone can love the Red Sox and hate the Patriots. I'd have to think that to an unbiased observer, the Red Sox have been far more annoying over the last 4 years.

As a diehard Sox fan, I agree with you 100%. All you need to do is watch Fever Pitch to understand how bad it's gotten. It could also be that the team sold "championship sod" after they tore the field up at Fenway. The Sox as PR whores has gotten pretty tiresome.

Wait, the team actually sold sod? Or are you kidding?

Well the Celtics also sold the parquet floor from the Graden and you could also by the bricks and the chairs from Foxboro stadium. Kinda sad in total but also kinda cool to own a piece of history.

Yes, they did. I believe they were charging $100 for a 9x13 inch piece.

"Bandwagon" fans?
Speaking for myself, and from what I know of the other NE fans who post here regularly, none of us just recently jumped on the bandwagon, unlike the type of fan who will jump on the bandwagon of the Jags just cause the Pats regularly stomp their beloved Colts and Iggles in the playoffs.

Take what you will from this...

WFAN in New York is reporting that Herm Edwards is out as Jets coach. It could become official as early as tonight. The Chiefs and Jets are currently negotiating draft picks as compensation.
According to WFAN's Mike Francesa, Jets owner Woody Johnson is tired of Edwards asking for a contract extension. The team also reportedly isn't happy about some recent leaks to the media. Rumors say that Johnson will let his coach go for a third and fifth round draft pick. That said, it's not good news for a Jets franchise that is already having roster and morale problems. Defensive coordinator Donnie Henderson and offensive coordinator Mike Heimerdinger are both likely candidates to replace Herm.
