Australia beat Lichtenstein 3-1 in their friendly last night, kewell played out the match which i think is a good sign and btw sorry about getting off topic last forum wont happen again, i had one of my moments

I still have a good feeling with a little more than 48 hours before England first match kicks off!

Dont get me wrong I expect lots of trauma and emotional highs and lows but I still have a good feeling.

Did you expect him to figure proimently? I would have thought Trezeguet, Henry and even Saha would have been ahead of him.

No, but it's sad, it's the second time that he broke his leg and he is only 25.
I don't who is going to join the squad now.

Anelka or Guilly (sp) are being touted as the two possible replacements.

Cisse was France's top scorer in the qualifiers with 4.

This is the winning chant for the Socceroos....apparently. So get practising, it's to the tune of Tie Me Kangaroo Down.

Watch me Socceroos play mate
Watch me Socceroos play
There going to win on the day mate
So watch me Socceroos play
All together now
Watch me Socceroos play mate
Watch me Socceroos play
There going to win on the day mate
So watch me Socceroos play

if I was a betting man I would have to back the Chech Republic because I do see them as the best outsider bet

me posting this will probably result in them not getting through the group stages
don't quite know how I always end up backing losers myself

ah well

Does anyone know of any websites where I can watch the World Cup over the 'net? I'm going to be away from civilization (well, relative to living in the middle of Chicago) starting this weekend for the rest of the summer, and I want to be able to watch it.

not sure how it works...but it says live ESPN broadcast online.

i think cisse's career is over , he has only just got back from another break.

Was waling to college today and loads of streets were errecting england flags , one house had a danish flag which was cool considering they aint in it.

Everyone in my group are going town on saturday to watch the game , i might join em.

COME ON ENGLAND

I BELIEVE

i saw the pictures of it. it looked horrible and i worked in ortho clincs for a few years and seen a lot of bad breaks. and the fact that it was the other leg probably will end his career. no one is going to want him if he's that prone to broken bones...esp the fact that his were both really bad breaks.

poor guy. :(

ITS COMING HOME, ITS COMING, FOOTBALLS COMING HOME.

We still believe, we still believe
We still believe, we still believe

It's coming home, it's coming home
It's coming, Football's coming home
It's coming home, it's coming home
It's coming, Football's coming home

Tears for heroes dressed in grey
No plans for final day
Stay in bed, drift away
It could have been all
Songs in the street
It was nearly complete
It was nearly so sweet
And now I'm singing

Three lions on a shirt
Jules Rimet still gleaming
No more years of hurt
No more need for dreaming

Talk about football coming home
And then one night in Rome
We were strong, we had grown
And now I see Ince ready for war
Gazza good as before
Shearer certain to score
And Psycho screaming

Three lions on a shirt
Jules Rimet still gleaming
No more years of hurt
No more need for dreaming

We can dance Nobby's dance
We could dance it in France

It's coming home, it's coming home
It's coming, Football's coming home

sorry couldnt resist
great song lyrically , amazing pub song.

Lets hope we will be singing that song a lot, get in there ENGERLAND, THREE LIONS, FED UP WITH 66.

i think england need to get up with the whole 66 thing , we won it so what, i dont think brazil or france go on about it.

its well embrassing at times :madspit: .

40 YEARS OF HURT NEVER STOPPED ME DREAMING

I've just visited United site and it says that Roonie is " injury free" and now he only needs to get match fit. I expect him after the groups. As I stated many times before with Roonie England is simply over the top. Without him they are just second best world team.

Doctors and clubs are not serious, they should have been able to detect that Cissé has a problem with his bones, he broke his left and his right leg in less than 2 years.
He was not injured because of crazy tackles, he broke his legs while he was running ! :eyebrow:
Clubs invest millions of euros to buy players but they don't take care of them, it's ridiculous.

Govou is the substitute, the French coach had no "secret list" like other countries, it's pathetic, Govou was in holidays with his familly while Giuly is in Australia and Anelka in Dubai....

Croatia will win

Morate prvo proci grupu.Stvarno zajebana grupa, znas oni Australijanci nisu bas slabi, ima tu par dobrih igraca iz premijer lige.
