Yup , I had made already a comment about that yesterday , but somethin new came up and I just cant be shut up . I felt really disgusted yesterday , specially coz I do respect a lot of italians , italian football , the whole thing . But THAT was the lowest act I've ever seen in a WC , or in the world of football for that matter .

So There was this Judge from Rome , that ordered ' the prision ' of Cafu , brazilian captain , coz of a old problem concernin his 'italian nationality' a document which would help put more foreigners in a team . That was a problem from 2004 , and seemed to be solved . But it came back again , and in the exact last day before Brazil's start he ordered the prision of him , exactly at this day . That alone would already be .... "curious" to not say other thing , but then also yesterday I read Cafu's italian lawyer assuring that this ' wouldn't end up in nothing ' and together with this , with this news of order of prision , I read that economists in Italy said that the victory in the WC would be vital for the recovery of Italian's economy ........

I leave you to think about this ....... All I can say that this was the ugliest thing I've ever seen in the behind scenes of a WC .

Hey, I like conspiracy theories as much as the next guy. But come on, at least wait until the refs completely screw up a game before making accusations.

Dont worry mate , the conspiracy , the real one will only begin after the 1st phase .

But I'm sure that is pretty much clear , one day before the game , the intention of such action.

J_NP - from what I read it is a prosecutor who recommended jail for Cafu. And just now I read that he was cleared of the charges.

Yeah it was a prosecutor , I had read yesterday it was one , though I heard in a news that it was a judge , and now he wasn't clear mate yet , it was just the order from this prosecutor was cancelled .

BTW about now's game , though France didnt play well , they did have a P.K. as clear as snow.

That was a great game!

Brazil has some iffy things though that I didn't expect. Croatia is eons better than both Japan and Australia, should get past both of them if they play like they did today.

Just after France - Switzerland :

French radio reporter : So Thierry, what do do you think ?

Henry : There was penalty.... and the grass was dry, it's too difficult to play when the grass is dry.

I think I'm feeling right now like the fans , well at least the U2 casual fans , after the op. night of popmart , so much expectation and ...... I that was one of the most critics bout english game saturday , I think Brazil today put english on shame Brazil played I think 23% of it's potential today ....... shame shame shame , the game was terrible . Save for Kaka which played what was expected , and few plays of Ronaldinho . Brazil's defense was good , for a brazilian defense .... but what pisses me the most , is that the BEST PLAYERS today arent on the A team today .

Real Madrid and Lyon fans and supporters gonna need your help for a little campaign.

Any Brazilian watching the England game would be thinking the same thing!

Early early early, never judge what you'll see in the 2nd round based on the first. It's a different game altogether at the knockout stages. World cup after world cup has shown that, but for the English to not be troubled by the prospect of brazil because of what they saw today after the abysmal performance by England on Saturday is laughable.
