If you ever see this beer, try it  I am not a big beer fan (Guinness and this stuff) but this is fantastic (5% alcohol)

A nap sounds pretty nice right about now. I do have this hammock and all. :hmm:

No cosmo for me, but I'll take that chocolate. And an Irish coffee.

**Runs into The Octagon...**

Hey gang!

Just dropping in to say hi before I go out and get some dinner -

If you're closing this one before I get back, don't forget that Dave has to re-open the next bar!

Don't forget to put up the artificial moose-head over the bar, Dave - that's as nordic as it gets!

See you later! :D:up:

**Runs out of the bar down to the other end of Temple Bar to grab a burger at the ThunderRoad Cafe**

Does this mean we all have to hang around outside the next bar until Dave arrives with the keys?

I don't think so, we have some serious drinking to do:wink:

Dave just went off to school, merc... And I doubt that the patrons can wait that long!

Well, in that case - just make sure that the next bar has somekind of nordic theme over it... I think Dave would like that!

useless trivia.....

Did you know that my home town is closer to Oslo than it is to London. The capital of Norway is closer to my home than the capital of the United Kingdom.

To clarify, my home town is in the United Kingdom.

nevermind, told y'all it was useless trivia.

And to follow that up with more useless trivia...

I live in the most isolated city on the planet:huh:

There's absolutely nothing wrong with being close to Oslo, Ewen... :D

... but , then you're actually rather close to me!

Nope, its Perth Western Australia....

(Puts head on desk and sobs uncontrollably.... no wonder we never get any visitors .... )

another piece of useless trivia (should i be saving this for the Norse-themed bar?).....

Loch Ness (c'mon you've all heard of the monster?).... "Ness" comes from the Norse "nes" meaning a headland. Many places in the Highlands (my homeland) of Scotland are suffixed with "ness", such as Inverness, Alness, Bo'ness, etc.

Sorry, just checked and we are second! Honolulu is first

"The lifestyle experienced in Perth is unlike any other city in the world. This is because you'll need to travel over 2500 kilometres in all directions to find a city of similar size. "
