I'm home at my mom's and stepdad's now (with high-speed internet again!) and I got more loot...some RAM for my laptop, which made it super-speedy now, and a new all-in-one printer for my dorm room, plus the requisite stocking toiletries. I also got the Vertigo DVD and I'm getting some new sunglasses soon too once my mom and I get a chance to go pick out a pair.

Damn, I made out like a bandit!

I went to the casino tonight and promptly lost $40 of Christmas money, so I figured I'd cut my losses (after a few drinks, of course) and went shopping. I Christmas money.

I think I'll go crack open a Guinness and watch the Sex & The City season 6 dvd I bought tonight.

If your computer is slow, and you can hear your hard drive grinding away, then yes RAM will likely make it go faster. Although if you have 512MB of more already, the problem is likely somewhere else, either your CPU is slow, or too many programs running in the background.

Of all the things that Halifax sucks for, being far away from any major concert cities is the worst.

But in other news, I just bought a new pair of sunglasses to replace the ones I busted in Philly...50% off a $250 pair of Oakleys.

a thousand bucks just for flight and hotel, that's before food, drink and of course, concert tickets.

when it's all said and done we're talking about a 1,500+ vacation at a time when i'm attempting to move out.

I lost the pair I had actually held onto for almost a year back in NYC in October. I asked Abby to send them when she sent my Vertigo NYC poster, but she said they were nowhere to be found in her bag.

i was looking through all the pics when I had that made. You took way better pics of Adam than I during that show. I even used one of them as wallpaper for awhile.

Yeah, I'm really pleased with how a lot of my photos turned out. Of course, that's once I figured out what settings I needed to use on my camera. None of the pictures before about SYCMIOYO even turned out because of the weird light situations. Confused the hell out of my poor camera.

Although I did get a pretty cool one during Electric Co. where it looks like Bono's on fire right in front of us.
