I did the same thing last year. It wasn't fun. I actually just started eating "solid" food the day before Christmas too...

Oh. My. Gut.

I just finished off my dinner at 11:00. I had the Lamb Rogan Josh cooking away at 8:00 and had to do a whole heap of pickups around the city and I got back at 10:30, the most succulent meat I have ever tasted

Plus I did saffron rice (with real saffron which was left in warm milk then reduced with a quarter stick of butter and mixed through the spiced rice (cloves, cumin, corriander, cinnamon).

There is nothing better than a good curry on a cold night.

That sucks, but at least you can still drink even if you can't eat solid food.
