Dodgy band name aside, they have completely restored my faith in the fact that yes, there are bands who can create very catchy songs with loads of lovely hooks, and also in the fact that Canada does have good musicians after all!

I was going to buy 'Electric Version' over the weekend but sadly I only found it at HMV. To my utter delight the one copy (there was also a copy of 'Mass Romantic' with the same pricetag) was being sold at the low, low price of $41.00, still $4 cheaper than either of the Joe Strummer albums I found.

I have Mass Romantic, I'm going to buy Electric Version this week.

Mass Romanitic is fantastic, dont know why I've taken so long to get the new one.

I am finishing Neutral Milk Hotel right now (on the last song), I will then listen to New Pornographers and tell you of my initial impressions.

By the way, I noticed Matador has rereleased Mass Romantic on their label when I was at the store. It says it's 'remastered'....like it wasnt good enough quality before?

Senior Yertle, this album is most spectacular. After one listen I am going to edit my best of 2003 list to include it. They did not dissappoint in any manner after their last album. Needless to say, I should have bought this long ago.
