As a clarification, while I do read, I have never actually read Twilight.

And barlowdog, that article was sad.

Twilight (by Elliott Smith)

Haven't laughed this hard in a long time
I better stop now before I start crying
Go off to sleep in the sunshine
I don't want to see the day when it's dying
She's a sight to see
She's good to me
But I'm already somebody's baby
She's a pretty thing
And she knows everything
But I'm already somebody's baby
You don't deserve to be lonely
But those drugs you've got won't make you feel better
Pretty soon you'll find it's the only
Little part of your life you're keeping together
I'm nice to you
I could make it through
But you're already somebody's baby
I could make you smile
If you stayed a while
But how long will you stay with me, baby?
Because your candle burns too bright
Well I almost forgot it was twilight
Even if I think that you are right
Well I'm tired of being down, I got no fight
You're wonderful
And it's beautiful
But I'm already somebody's baby
And if I went with you
I'd disappoint you too
Well I'm already somebody's baby
Already somebody's baby

Now everyone can say they've read Twilight. :D

It's been too long since I've heard that song, I will fix that immediately.

What is [literature]?

I got so confused for a second, I thought we had a cookie monster emoticon, which would be the coolest thing ever.

Green Gloves came on my iPod today and for some reason it stood out for me even though I've listened to Boxer a couple of times now.

I think you've listened to Boxer more than a couple times, under-estimator.

Okay I do admit, I've listened to it a lot more than just a couple of times but I do enjoy Alligator a lot more. I was surprised how much this track has grown on me.

How'd I miss this thread?

Seeing them again in a week. My obsession is well-documented, so I've got nothing to add.

And watching that I just realized the lyrics are "I'm very, very frightening", not "I'm very, very frightened" in Slow Show.

The band list on the charity double album is ridiculously solid. Fest with Grizzly Bear?! Yes, please!

'All the Wine' is about as entertaining as songs can be for me.

I'm put together beautifully
Big wet bottle in my fist, big wet rose in my teeth
I'm perfect piece of ass
Like every Californian
So tall I take over the street, with highbeams shining on my back
A wingspan unbelievable
I'm a festival, I'm a parade

And all the wine is all for me
And all the wine is all for me
And all the wine is all for me

I'm a birthday candle in a circle of black girls
God is on my side
Cuz I'm the child bride
I'm so sorry but the motorcade will have to go around me this time
Cuz God is on my side
And I'm the child bride

And all the wine is all for me
And all the wine is all for me
And all the wine is all for me

I carry the dollhouse, safe on my shoulders
Through the black city, night lights are on in the corners
And everyone's sleeping upstairs
All safe and sound
All safe and sound, I won't let the psychos around
All safe and sound, I won't let the psychos around

I'm in a state, I'm in a state
Nothing can touch us my love
I'm in a state, I'm in a state
Nothing can touch us my love
