I believe that you have to go out and try things. If you thought a few years ago it might be fun (like i did with journalism) you might realise it isn't your passion.

I go with the theory that life is long (touch wood), so a few mis-steps and false starts are perfectly fine.
I am ready to really go after this new dream of mine. It carries with it a little fame. More than I would have with producing. If I produced records than I don't think I would leave the midwest. Honestly though you all might laugh if I told you what I was thinking of doing now.

If i was a passenger i wouldn't want me doing the flying!

I would be more afraid of Axver's blindness.

Yep, that's the main point. I originally considered journalism because I wanted to write, but it seems like such a vapid medium.

In any case, in academia, it is a case of publish or perish. If you aren't producing journal articles or books, you're gone.

"And as for Bono, he needs a colostomy bag for his mouth."

I'm pretty sure i'd pass all of the medical stuff. I just need to accept that i'll be horribly in debt if i do go down that line.

I did some glider flying when i was about 14-15, and the whole flying experience was just innate for me. At 14. I don't honestly think i've regressed in skill or anything since then either.

Hopefully more than just one airline starts to recognise that the pilot shortage is because training is damn expensive.

This is my reasoning. My talents are writing and creativity. I just want to write. That is what I am meant for. So I now want to be a...comic book writer.

You'd probably crash the plane while leaning out the cockpit window trying to film your mad landing skillz.

I know. I don't know what my parents will think. I think I could excel at it. I like great characters and storytelling.
