well, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion and Beck actually have a lot in common (no wonder you can hear Beck on one of the songs on Orange and he contributed one song to Now I Got Worry)
both artists have managed to fully fill the gap between music past and present while still sounding extremely energetic (especially Blues Explosion) and not falling into the trap of sounding like some kind of formula

too bad both artists are far more innovative than influential

btw, I consider Bono to be a fairly good reference, and Bono has always had good things to say about Billy Corgan...

but whatever, not like I'll ever meet any of them, so what does it really matter
