The most beautiful song ever

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.

I must agree with the original poster. Nutshell is such an incredibly beautiful song.

"We chase misprinted lies
We face the path of time
And yet I fight
And yet I fight
This battle all alone
No one to cry to
No place to call home
Oooh...Oooh...
Oooh...Oooh...
My gift of self is raped
My privacy is raked
And yet I find
And yet I find
Repeating in my head
If I can't be my own
I'd feel better dead
Oooh...Oooh...
Oooh...Oooh..."

"Nutshell" by Alice in Chains

Unplugged version...

Never heard anything better than this..before

Sorry for making a thread but if you havent heard this, you havent heard nothing !!

I love this song, Jar of Flies is one of my favorite albums.

Not to hijack or anything, but I still can't see" Alice and Chains " touring without Layne Staley.

I also love those

At this moment, I'd have to go with Pearl Jam's Oceans. I found an original demo of this song last week that I can't stop listening to.

A few others I especially love:

Arcade Fire's Neighborhood #1 (Tunnels)
Baby Blue Sedan, by Modest Mouse
Street Spirit (Fade Out) by Radiohead
Be Mine - R.E.M.
Harvest Moon - Neil Young

The Black Crow by Songs: Ohia

through sparrow black wind
a dead crow calls out to his wing
we were lightning across the whole world
we were lightning

and the guise to black cats we made a cross when our shadows met
and the guise to black cats we made a pact when our shadows passed

through sparrow black wind
a dead crow calls out to its wings
I'm getting weaker I'm getting thin
I hate how obvious I have been
I'm getting weaker
and I look down and see the whole world
and it's fading

Yeah I'm gonna throw my hat in with that one too.

Although if you had said "Nightswimming" I would have done the same thing.

As for suggesting anything myself, I'd say Bulletproof [wish I was] by Radiohead.
