Monster takes a long time to warm up to, but it's definitely worth it once you do. A great album, and it prompted a great tour as well. I love Crush With Eyeliner and Tongue!

Great album. My favorites are Tongue and Let Me In.

Let Me In and Strange Currencies - for those two alone this is a corker!

I agree completely. It's a GOOD album, but not great, except for "Let Me In" I've LOVED that song from the first time I heard it. One of my favorite R.E.M. songs.

The Monster tour was good, but I enjoyed the show I saw after Monster much, much more. I think it was after Bill Berry left and I don't think they had an album for the tour . . . or maybe it was the "Up" tour . . . hmmm, I'll have to ask my best friend who never forgets a concert. Anyway, I thought that show was much better than the one I saw on the Monster tour.

I don't know...I never actually made it through the whole thing, it got so dull. That usually sets in with I Took Your Name.

I do however, love to crank up WTF, Kenneth on a regular basis.
