Kudos once again to the Sawx

The Coco catch ahs to be in the top 3 plays of the year, only because it was late in the game and the score was close.

Did my eyes deceive me, or did Glavine get a standing ovation from the Fenway faithful as he departed the game?

must be because he's a Concord Mass. native. The fact that they all even knew that is a testament to their baseball IQ.

Side note - Canseco signs a deal w/ a San Diego minor league team and Raffy Mr Viagra, Mr B12 shot, wants to get back into MLB.

Billerica Mass actually and thats certainly the reason for the crowd's reaction to Glavine, that coupled with a large influx of Mets fans (I was just talking to a friend wh attended the game and the Mets fans were plentiful).

Last night was scheduled to be Interference night at Fenway...too bad we didn't make it...good game.

i was very surprised by the "let's go mets" chants at fenway... not overly surprised that at one point they were answered by "yankees suck" chants

a tip of the hat to the red sox. you are my daddies.

only thing the mets can take from the series was that, if perchance they were to meet again, the experience of playing in that ballpark won't be as overwellming for the young kids, and as nerve-racking for pedro.

but, alas, the mets were put in their place. good team, yes. world series champion caliber? not yet. lot of time between now and october, though. lot of time.

The AL Central (namely the Twin, Tiger and Sock) had an outstanding June. I wonder which team will go into complete collapse mode first.

I didn't see the HR celebration in question, but ARod really isn't the type to showboat.

I didnt think there was a bat flip or an arrogance, I was just thinking that he was trotting awful slowly, and when Loduca started screaming at him I thought maybe he thought what I thought......Or perhaps he was just miffed they pissed away a big lead

It's been reported that LoDuca was mad at the bat flip and because he was looking into the Yankee Dugout (I guess like "look at me guys!") sort of thing.

Once again, Scott Kazmir owns the Red Sox.

Seriously, the only way to beat this guy is to throw at a couple Tampa Bay batters, then sit back and watch Kazmir retaliate and get thrown out of the game. Just ask Bronson Arroyo.

Mets fans everywhere must be loving how Kazmir has developed into an All-Star pitcher.

Ah, what a lovely trade that was...

Every so often the Indians just feel the need to lay a first class whooping on the Yanks.

between the injuries, the overall age of the team, and the crappy pitching, dare I say, if the Yanks don't acquire a quality starting pitcher they will not make the playoffs.
