I love World Cup years. Unfortunately since the world cup is in Germany and I am now in Canada, am going to be working through most if it! Not happy about that at all!

I just thought i might as well throw this question into discussion too:

I got asked the other day whether i'd rather see England win the world cup or Villa win the champions league?

my reply was i'd rather see villa win the champions league and i got roundly criticised from my mates for saying that. i love my club and country but i think i'd be slightly more ecstatic if villa won the champions league because at the moment its so unlikely and i support them week-in week-out whereas england only play every 3-4 months or so.

what do you guys think? club or country?

Club will be great -- but see Italy win for the first time in my life would be priceless

Well I have bigger problem . If i were to choose between United winning champions league (or Premier) and Serbia (my national team) wining world cup , I'd go for United. My friends tell me that's insane cause they don't understand how can I love any foreign team better than national but what can I do. I just feel that way.Sadly all that left for me now is FA and Carling.

i'd go with club cause it would be a very cold day in hell before canada would ever even make it into the world cup finals.

I am going off topic for a second...

Last night while I was flipping through the channels before going to sleep I came across a show on GOL TV called Manchester United Skills. I had to watch it because there were these cute little boys being coached by several players like Roy Keane. Anyway I thought the kids were so cute because they were so young and I thought "aww they are learning how to play soccer by their idols." well fuck little did I know those small cute boys were in the Man U academy and kicked ass. Here I was thinking they were on the same level as my 9 year old nephew with the game. WRONG they were playing like they were professionals already.

Anyway just a side note...

oh and the gol tv website:
