Sicy sorry, but I was glad to hear that it wasn't going to be in my town I walk right by the SJ courthouse every day on my way to work and it would have been a nightmare.

I had to serve on a jury for two weeks on a murder trial ( a husband killed his wife ) and even though I find the whole jury court thing to be interesting, it was very stressfull!!! I had bad dreams for weeks after that.

Just read the paper every day if you want to be excused if you are chosen. Several people who were called when I was had raised their hands when the judge asked if they had read that mornings paper and were all excused from jury service.

All you have to write on your info sheet is "well, he's here in court and I saw him in handcuffs so I presume he's guilty!!

One time I had to serve on a federal court case and I swear, I had absolutely no idea what they were talking about I felt so stupid So I just told them, I have no idea what you're talking about "Thank you you're excused." If all else fails, play dumb.. lol.
