Oh god yeah! I despise the "ma'ams."

If you want to get on my good side (and you do want to be on my good side, because bad as it is, my good side is far better than my bad side, which is ugly ), do NOT call me ma'am!

Most restuarants, etc, don't want to take the chance of serving an underage. And since I'm just at the drinking age, yes, usually I would be carded.

I wonder if the waitress had been drinking?

Oh, and speaking of ma'ams.

Once at Swiss chalet, our server was new and a young (likely teen..thus around my age) male. And he kept calling me ma'am. Constantly.

Me: Can I have another drink, pls?
Server: Yes, maam.

Server: Maam, would you like anything else?

Maybe I should just stop going to restuarants.

I'm hurtling towards 30 at an alarming rate!

Anyway, I'm grumpy enough to be at least 50!

I had that baby face for a long time. It bothered me a lot when I was 21. But now, I still look young, but I gave up long ago to get stressed over stupid things like that.

I'm 24 and often get carded when buying booze. I like pretending the ID is fake and getting nervous hoping I don't get caught.

Zoomerang what are you doing in this thread

I look much younger than I am, especially when I'm the only Asian among New Zealanders, and I've never had pimple problems because of my genes. Yes it's annoying, and it's also gross when older men still hit on me when I know they think I'm much younger. But since I got married I've been able to ... nah, who am I kidding, that doesn't change a thing.

I'm the total opposite, I've always looked older. When I was in 3rd grade, some kid in the lunchline asked me if I had stayed back because I looked older. And when I was 11, I was hit on by a 15 year old who thought I was 14 or 15. The look on his face when I told him I was 11 was priceless.
