And, yes, as others have pointed out, it will be regarded as a blessing in the years to come.
it should be noted at this point that i never have said you looked younger than you really are.

alright, i promise to treat you better.

When I was a teenager I was mistaken for being older than I was (I think because I was really, really reserved in public), but since my mid twenties I generally am taken for being younger than my actual age. Best of both worlds!

I did go to a club where "they card everyone" and was just waved in a couple of years ago. That was fucking depressing.

I got carded up until I was in my mid 30s. Example, I was about 33 and travelling to Stockholm from Turku on curseliner with a my work mates when we decided to go and have a drink in one of the many ships bars. I ordered a beer and the bar tender asks for my ID! I reluctently hand over my card and he looks at it in utter disbelief and says this must be your older sisters ID card and I say "Well, that's impossible coz I don't have and elder sister!" and my work mates confirmed this!! Now that I'm into my mid-forties strangers assume I'm in my early 20s! Which doesn't bother me at all!

It irritated me when I was in my late twenties and still got carded. It didn't bother me at all when I was in my thirties. Then it suddenly stopped and the "mams" started. That bothered me. I'm quite a bit older than my husband (45) but people think I'm younger than him. Now THAT doesn't bother me in the least.

Another babyface one here... It does get quite annoying sometimes. Though one day I'll probably learn to appreciate it, I hope

The one that sticks out in my mind is when I went to vote, this woman went on about how I didn't look old enough to vote. I think I said something sarcastic in response. Can't remember quite what, but it made my brother laugh.

I'm 25, I was carded at a casino the other day.

Highlight of my week

I fear the day I turn into "ma'am" so I'm going to enjoy looking younger while it lasts.

Someone once asked me when i was starting high school, you should have seen their face when i told them i'd left high school the year before! Also, round where i live i have trouble getting into bars, the bouncers on the doors always tell me to come back when i turn 18, they're not so smug when i show them my id.
