That's interesting! Did you visit any other places in Russia apart from St.Peter's? And which Russian writers do you like?

No, I just went to St. Petersburg. We took the train in from Helsinki, so I guess I saw some of the countryside. I have read Doctor Zhivago, by Pasternak, which I think is now my favorite book, The Brothers Karamazov by Dostoesvsky, which I also really liked and am currently reading Tolstoy's Anna Karenina. Doctor Zhivago was my first Russian literature and probably my favorite. The entire time we were in St. Peter's my mom told me to read it because she mistakenly thought it took place there so I read it as soon as I got home. Oh, I have also read the Diary of Vaslav Nijinksy, which I read on the train from Helsinki.

 dr. zhivago
