There's a brand new "group" out there called The Gutter Twins. Basically it's Greg Dulli (The Afghan Whigs/The Twilight Singers) and Mark Lanegan (Screaming Trees). The album is called "Saturnalia" - it's a must for fans of either. Check it out if that's your cup of tea.

Pitchforked liked it. I acquired this a few days ago, still need to listen to it. If it's even half as good as the last couple Twilight Singers albums, I'm going to love it. Dulli 4-Life.

I think they're also playing in Los Angeles the first week of April.

Thanks for this. I had read about these guys in the paper, and saw this. I downloaded it just for fun, to check them out. I really like what I've heard so far, and I'm going to get the album as soon as some root canals are paid for.

I'm excited. I just got meself a ticket to see these fellows at the Roxy in LA this July. It's a small place, don't you know.

Wait, didn't they just play Los Angeles in March or April?

And I hate the fucking Roxy. Who the hell wants to go to the Strip for an indie rock show? It's bad enough having to occasionally go to the Troubador, which has a shitty layout and terrible parking.

Yeah, but I missed them then. I like the Roxy. I haven't been there for at least 20 years, but the shows I saw there were great. Gil Scott-Heron, George Carlin, Lou Reed. There were others, but it's too early to think of who they were.
