Considering the state of mind I've been in this week I need to find some silver linings in the day. Here they are:

My capris feel even looser on me than they already did
Managed to get 7 hours of sleep
Downloaded a U2 boot
Possibly going to hang out with my friends tonight
Finished my 3rd summer reading book
Found my class ring

I had a terrible week, but at least today the sun came up and I don't have to deal w/ hurricanes or anything like that. I can walk and talk and see and do everything else w/ out any limitations, so that's always great

It's a beautiful day outside today

I had ice cream at lunchtime, and someone gave me the most beautiful cut hydrangeas

My husband made it though his appendectomy ok.

My husband and I weren't hurt in our car accident.

We bought a really cute car that runs well.

My husband was able to go back to work a week early.

I had my wisdom teeth taken out on Tuesday and I didn't swell at all and I've been pretty much pain free.

It's been a really rough past 2 weeks, but God's in control and I can only look at the positive things to get through all of this.

I'm back online at home due to the puchase of a new monitor.
I had the means to buy the monitor.
I love my new job - and they love me back!!!
I have a job & a boss that allow me access to Interference several times each day.
I have a spouse who worships the ground I walk on.
And, as with most things, the simplest answer is the best:

I woke up this morning.

Great thread, Ricky!!!

That's too many bad things briarrose, you have a great attitude though

I just got the most beautiful e-mail from my Mom, things I really needed to hear from her

Thanks BluRmGrl and MrsSpringsteen!

I hope things get better for you MrsSpringsteen.

It's really hard to have a good attitude sometimes. I made myself write a list of good things the other day. That helped so much.

Another bad thing is that I think I have dry socket in one area where my wisdom tooth was removed. It starting to hurt really bad. I looked in the mirror and all I could see was white pretty far down. I'm assuming that's bone. A better attitude would be that at least it didn't happen to all of my teeth.

Thanks again.

Some more good things:

It's absolutely gorgeous outside. Bright and sunny, not too cool, not too hot.
Went out for a run while listening to Achtung Baby on my iPod, and cleared my head a little bit.
My newf who has been sick seems to be acting better since we put her on medication.

's for Mrs. Springsteen and briarrose.

It's Friday and I may be going out tonight.
I'm seeing Dane Cook tomorrow night.
I saw Ted Nugent for free last night and had a blast (many beers had more of a part in that that Ted did).
Dane Cook is hysterical

I gave my almost 1 year old son a bottle for breakfast. I hated mornings, until he was born
