Oh, and DiGi, it really REALLY is worth upgrading to DVD. I can personally vouch for that. I bought the DVD collection only a week ago, and it was amazing. Truly amazing. The commentary is fantastic, lost scenes are amazing, and the test-screenings which they show are frickin' hilarious.

I really recommend it.

Ant.

Has anyone read the book? There's quite a bit of stuff that the movie left out, including one VERY disturbing story. Those of you who read it know exactly what I'm talking about.

Saw part 3 a few years ago, and again last year (as a channel on our TV showed all 3 movies on the first 3 days of the year 2002) It only really makes sense when you've seen all 3 (in a row, if possible).

My fave part was in Godfather 2, the part where Michael lost his family, and had his brother killed - him standing alone in a room, losing everyone yet being a powerful gangster. What a powerful scene.

Yes, if you like gangster/mafia movies (ala Goodfellas) definitely check it out.

No, you're not the only one! On this last viewing, about a year ago, I was really annoyed by her though I don't remember feeling that way before. First I was annoyed by her bad hair (or, I should say, funny-dated hair), then by the whole character. I'm a big Diane Keaton fan so I think it was definitely the character and not the actress.

I read the book when it first came out but it's been so long that I haven't a clue what this disturbing story is.

The book is so good. I have this really old hardback copy. I love it.

Ahhhh, I love the films and the book - this is where my name comes from! 1&2 are both amazing, I'm not sure which one I like better, 3 is a bit weaker.
And the book is great as well. If I had a DVD-Player, the collection would be the first I would buy!

Oh, and I've got this poster on my wall:
