THE FIRST sound-recording in HISTORY FOUND!

http://www.firstsounds.org/sounds/18...air-de-la-Lune

Barely audible, but a woman is singing the lyric "Au Clair de la Lune"(the light of the moon)...an old French folk song.

This was recorded in 1860 by a French inventor named Scott something

Bono should pay homage to this amazing discovery by incorporating that lyric into one of the news songs!

I guess Thommy Edison has been shown up!

So you mean this was not by U2?

That Scott Something is really something.

Edison is a hack. We all know who the real genius is:

That's creepy as hell. It sounds like a baby girl saying her first words through a wall of static...or perhaps on a youtube video.

I'm not downloading it until a FLAC version surfaces.

Thanks! That is very cool. And creepy, too. Like I'm listening to a ghost in the background of something else.

It is really cool, but I'm holding out for the Timbaland remix.

We're a talented bunch
