On the Elevation Tour, I saw U2 at Staples a few times. For one of the shows, we were down near the floor, but in seats....and if we looked straight ahead, we could see the pit where the celebrities were situated, if not in the heart.
So, in the pit at this show were Eddie Vedder, Tom Cruise, Cameron Crowe, Billy Zane, Val Kilmer and his kid, Pat O'Brien (pre-drunken/drugged phone messages) Jon Bon Jovi (who looked bored all show long), and.....Hanson. All 3 of 'em. I mention this because nobody in the pit went crazier for U2 than all 3 brothers. All show long, they were totally into it, to the point that the other celebrities backed away to give them room.
