The Darkness... I've converted into a fan

Bought the album b/c of the "Thing Called Love" song and I think its one of the best albums out there (joke band or no). "Thing Called Love" is a rocking classic. The sound of the band and the guitar play is what's missing in mainstream music today as well as alt rock. Justin Hawkins makes me smile...

The energy is what Oasis should have had but didn't on Heathen Chemistry and Standing on the Shoulder of Giants.

If this band play their cards right they could really do something with the sound that they have.... in other words they could be truly great...

The lead singer of The Darkness sings so high! But not like Bono's high voice, to me. Do they have lyrics that aren't about love? I really like their song "A Little Thing Called Love!"

LOL... well the rhythm section does sound a little weak for super pop rock band like the Darkness....

With that said, Justin Hawkins does sound like a castrato or someone's got his balls in a super monkey grip....

The White Sripes don't even have a rhythm section. And that chick can't keep time at all.
