Yeehaw.

I need a dvd-player

I'm looking forward to this release even though I wouldn't call Bloodflowers one of their most admired albums :hmm: I'm very curious for the Pornography material

Popmofo be sure to get Smith's collaboration with Junkie XL, his album will be released tomorrow I think.

Well, all the songs are from the Pornography, Disintegration, and Bloodflowers albums. (there are 2 encores from Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me)

Wish isnt included.

Yeah, I saw that too on MTV. I think I'll wait one more week though. The leaked version's enuff for me right now. Besides, I need SOMETHING to look forward to. Went to Tower Records today and ordered all 4 versions of the "There There" cd single. US, JAPAN, CANADIAN, & UK. Yaay!!

Lemme know if you find that Cure dvd, I'm so stoked. I f'ing worship Robert Smith!

Sure thing!! Yeah, I listened to a bunch of Cure stuff after I heard about this dvd.

You ordered all 4 versions of the single? Wow. haha.

I couldnt find the DVD anywhere. I looked at 4 different stores.

Maybe it didnt get sent out in this shipment, who knows. I was so tempted to buy a few cd's instead. I shouldnt spend so much on cd's though, I have a bunch to buy next week.

Dood...that sucks.

I have such strong memories attached to "Distintergration." The BEST album to listen to when you're thinking about girls, long lost loves, unrequited loves, and crushes.

dearest mofo, if I told you I was a Cure neophyte who only knows 'Friday I'm in Love', but will be going to the music selling place before the end of the week, what Cure album would you recommend I buy to get started on them?

'Standing at the Sea' is a compilation of all their early singles, and is a FANTASTIC compilation to start with. That was the cd that got me hooked. If you want a real album and not a compilation though, 'Disintegration' is my favorite. Those 2 cd's are quite different in style though.

Actually the compilation is called Staring At The Sea. Ironically enough the vinyl and cassette released was called Standing On The Beach. Staring At The Sea is a good start, especially since its the only CD you can get "Charlotte Sometimes" on, best song ever. I would actually recommend the live album Paris over the singles collection, as Paris has quite a few hits from over the years, including great live versions of One Hundred Years, Play For Today, At Night, and Charlotte Sometimes.
I would definitely recommend going for the albums
Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me
Disintegration
Wish
Those albums were done by the lineup with Porl Thompson and Boris Williams. Two of the most underrated musicians ever.
Not to mention I have about a million soundboard Cure shows.

Just picked up the dvd. Will view tonite and post my thots 2morrow. I'm as excited as a goth with a new shade of lipstick.

Hahahahah. Funny stuff.

I saw the dvd last night at Circuit City....I want to go buy it. My wallet will hate me, but I just may have to do it.

I got my disc a few weeks ago, before the release date.
All three sets are great, but Pornography really stands out.
Disintegration is awesome too, but it just doesnt capture the same feel it had back during The Prayer Tour.

Saying things like that doesnt hellp my wallet.

Well then, me thinks it might be time for you & your wallet to have a sit down. Sounds like Mr. Wallet is starting to seriously compromise your life.

Not really, I have my wallet completly in submission. It just doesnt like me buying things too much considering I'm jobless at the moment.

Then again, I still have money in the old bank that would like nothing more than to be spent on fantastic music items.

I have to say that I'm the most excited to hear all of the stuff from Bloodflowers live. How is that section of the dvd?

I honestly really like the Bloodflowers album. I know a lot of people really didnt think it was their best, but it's one of my personal favorites.

I really need to get some cash so I can go buy this dvd.

The Bloodflowers set is actually very good. I've always liked the album, but seeing/hearing it with Pornography & Disintergration brings it all together. It flows a lot more, kinda like the missing puzzle piece has finally been found. I had to laugh tho, Robert is looking rather...plump. :lmao:
