The Chameleons

O.K. anyone out there remember what a fantastic band The Chameleons were??? The album "Script Of The Bridge" is one of THE all time underated classics of the early 1980's. It still totally holds up. All kinds of bands...Ride, My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive, The Charlatans, Editors, Interpol and dozens of others owe a little something to these guys. Any fans out there??? To me, a perfect band for many U2 fans.

Yes!!! "Up the down escalator"
thanks for this thread for reminding me about them, I never could get their records in the 80s (all imports, never released here) and you've reminded me of myspazz and utube.....

I might try and get some of their stuff, especially if they are said to influence Interpol.
