Which leaves Crespo in a bit of a dilemna, because Milan would have been using Kaladze as a makeweight in a permanent deal or a loan extension. Personally I thought he was quite decent at Chelsea and should have stayed (maybe ahead of Mutu) but I don't think he'll ever play there again after what he said.
nah he won't play here again. but what i don't understand is why milan won't buy him. he scored enoguht goals for them this season.

Because Berlusconi's abit of a tightwad?

Sam Parkin and Nicky Forster are on their way to Ipswich. Hurrah. I think.

Hello from South-east Asia.

I like the idea of an Asian player playing for one of the world's biggest teams but honestly I think the jury's still out on our players in the big European leagues. Nakata had some success but the last I checked he was on the Fiorentina bench. Only Lee and Park seem to be the exceptions, I think, although I think the Dutch league is kinda second-tier compared to Spain or England. Most of the other Asians play for smaller teams in smaller leagues, sit on the bench (Hashiemian for Bayern, for instance) or have do absolutely nothing (Toda at Spurs).

Seems like Ipswich have sold all their decent players since the transfer market opened again. Be difficult to get promotion next year?

Sir Clive has finally joined Southampton then as their director of football.

But does this guy actually KNOW anything about this game?!

Well we've already got Pricey in goal to replace Davis for next season. He's already a Welsh international and while I don't think he's at Davis-level, I think he's good enough.

In midfield we've managed to tie up the permanent signing of Dean McDonald who we had on a temporary basis last year after he was released from Arsenal. We've also managed to extend the loan of Jimmy Juan from Monaco and we've also signed highly-rated Canadian U-21 international Jamie Peters.

Up front we've just finished the signing of Sam Parkin from Swindon today and we'll have Nicky Forster to follow, Dean Bowditch coming back from loan.

I think we've got a decent chance at promotion. Losing four key players in Davis, Bent, Miller and Kuqi is tough and I don't think we're ready to use all the youngsters we have at our disposal but I'm honestly very excited over the likes of Parkin, McDonald, Forster and Peters.

Newcastle at home first game of season, then CHELSEA away!! Fulham at home, Liverpool away.. tough start.

Last game at highbury ever is at home to.... Wigan... talk about a glamouros end!!
