I'll do everything in my power to hang on to the ticket I have.
I am really looking forward to it. I got all sentimental one day because I saw a smiling photo of James Hetfield in the last Sain magazine and thought how much Metallica has meant to my boys.On impulse I bought 2 tickets on credit card:yikes:, so two of us are going, I hope one of them is me.

I'd rather go to see/hear all the individual artists that are touring this summer eg. neil young, david bowie( I am having trouble accepting they'll be there and I will not:(...ah well as my mother says..."you will go and have all those children" too right ma, wouldn't have it any other way, "3 kids and the headphones"...)
but the BDO is good value for money imho.

BM2002, did you watch the ARIA Awards? Did you hear the speech the singer from "the waifs" gave? I believe in that too...
independent artists working away with little recognition...and money.
support local live music :)
