Anyway, here's what yertle is predicting for the final standings in the group stage. i'm going with most of the favourites. (by the way i really hate the group concept):

I think I prefer the group system. Knock outs are great but not over two legs, especially when you have to wait 2 weeks inbetween the games to see who wins.

i signed up for UEFA champoins league fantasy footy, i entered 3 leagues,
and i'm 2nd, 3rd & 2nd.....that second day of matchday 1 was a shocker for me...
but because i follow sunderland......i will be wanting AC Milan to go back to back....has that been done before?

it's kinda odd not finding Liverpool and Barcelona involved

granted they'll be lighting up the UEFA Cup but there's plenty of big European teams out this season

Rangers - Man United up next

that's going to be fun

frankly I don't like either of them

Man United for obvious reasons

and the Old Firm's horrible chanting can quite get to you (horrifically unprintable stuff about the IRA and that kind of crap), although on the odd occasion I see a match at Parkhead or Ibrox between the two I usually root for Celtic

apparently two weeks ago a girl reported that she'd been raped in a london hotel by some premier league footballers. that's for certain.

the rest is media speculation in my opinion.
