I enjoy "The Three E.P.'s" cd excessive ammounts.

(Wrong forum, I am a complete moron. I'm sorry mods, I apologiz!!"

the word is still out on just how good they are live

some say they suck others say theyre good

believe it or not, ive never heard a thing by them

give me a few songs to download, if i like it, youll be king, if i hate it,

Take your pick:

Dry the Rain
Dogs Got a Bone
She's the One
Dr. Baker
Needles In My Eyes

They are GREAT live....

Way better than recorded. I saw them live, then ventured to the recorded stuff. I liked the live version better.

Do you know if the have some North America dates coming up?

They're good live. Saw them open for Radiohead in Santa Barbara. Also really really good is lead singers' side band "King Biscuit Time." Check out the awesome song " I Walk The Earth."

downloaded dr. baker, she's the one, and dogs got a bone before kazaa exploded

liked what i heard

ROB: I will now sell six copies of "The Three EPs" by the Beta Band.
DICK: Do it.
--High Fidelity

"She's the One" is a beautiful song, complete with some chipmunk-kids singing at the end of it.

Alright, anyone else get the new album? I'm interested in hearing opinions on it, because I know it's gotten extremely positive and negative reviews.

I'd have to say that I'm really loving it! It's definitely a bit more accessable than their other work, which people will either really like or really hate. Anyways, I'm probably enjoying it even more than the 3 EP's for the time being.

i like it so far from what i've heard. which is only the first couple tracks.

I'd heard "Dry The Rain" on the radio and had no idea what it was--I searched for it for awhile unsuccessfully and gave up--then watched High Fidelity and figured it out. Quite possibly the first time I've ever figured out a song from hearing it in a movie.

Do they have tour plans yet?

Their website says they're planning a US tour for September. They've already confirmed that they'll be at the Austin City Limits Fest

I'm still really digging the new album.

I have their 'Human Being' single, and my uncle is married to the mother of the singer/guitarist, but i've never heard any of their albums...
