The Best (Single/Double Disc) "Hair Metal" Compilation in the World!

Was listening to this song by Dokken the other day on the radio. Didn't know the name but really liked it. And all of a sudden I feel like making a hair metal collection. Can you guys help me put together 1 or 2 discs of the best material from bands like Poison, Skid Row, Ratt, Dokken, Cinderella, Motley Crüe and the like?

No sappy ballads please, just rockers!

for Motley Crue I'd put

1.Too fast for love
2.looks that kill
3.Shout at the devil
4.Dr.feelgood
5.Wildside
6.Same Old Situation
7.Primal Scream
8.Sick Love Song.
9.Pretty Much anything off the Dr.Feelgood album rocks, minus the last track and without you

Fallen Angel - Poison
Uncle Tom's Cabin - Warrant
Piece of Me - Skid Row
Girl Don't Go Away Mag, Girl Just Go Away - Crue
What's the song with the Motorcycle sound effect by Motley Crue? UGH that song kicks ass.
Youth Gone Wild - Skid ROw
That song by Trixter that starts out "Say you're from the city, where it all moves so fast, got your fancy cars and something some and it's allright - GIVE IT TO ME GOOD!" YesI That song rocked.

Now I want one of these CDs too.

OH - Cinderella. You gotta have them. "Don't know what you go til it's gone" maybe? That song was mellow though.

Love Song - Tesla. <--- Yes.

Maybe some Bon Jovi. Lay your hands on Me?

I think everyone on this list from Jersey or LA? Cept Poison, they were from PA, I think.

RATT - Round and round.

Iron Maiden - Run to the Hills. NICE.

Anthrax - I'm the Man (w/ Public Enemy) Oh come on now. SWEET!

Ozzy - Crazy Train.

Go with this Zoot:

Dokken - It's Not Love
Ratt - Lay It Down
Dio - The Last In Line
Krokus - Screamin' In The Night
Motley Crue - Primal Scream
Skid Row - I Remember You (ballad, but not sappy)
AC/DC - Shoot To Thrill
Kiss - Lick It Up
Bon Jovi - Wanted Dead or Alive
Aldo Nova - Fantasy
Billy Squier - Lonely Is The Night
Blüe Oyster Cult - Burnin' For You
Great White - Rock Me
Fastway - Say What You Will
Def Leppard - Let It Go

That's a good start...

OH NO! I forgot Def Leppard. They were my boys back in Jr. High. Anything on Hysteria, can't really go wrong. Pour Some Sugar on Me, Armageddon It, Rock-It, Animal.

Queensryche - Eyes of a Stranger or Empire.

David Lee Roth - Yankee Rose.

This topic delivers. BAM.

Rock Rock Til You Drop by Def Lep. Anything off Pyromania and Hysteria just kicks ass

UberBeaver the song that has the motorbike sound is Wild Side. Girls Girls Girls also has that at the beginning, but I think your talking about Wild Side

If you are doing Cinderella: Shake Me, Gypsy Road, Shelter Me

You might need some GNR in there you know.... Keep me posted

Thanks guys!

But I'm not sure if Def Leppard and GNR fit into that group. I've always taken them more seriously.

You can take G n' R seriously...but Leppard? Don't get me wrong I love those guys, but they represented Hair Metal in the 80's. They totally fit as do G n' R.

And Lila - Whitesnake - Slow and Easy... Best, little known, metal song of all time!!!

Don't forget some Y&T maybe Rescue Me or Summertime Girls and some Poison - I Want Action. Quiet Riot - Metal Health (Bang Your Head), Cinderella - Last Mile or Shake me. Van Halen - Unchained

Oh I could go on and on and on...but I'm spent.
