Because I like The Bends!

The Bends and OK Computer are the only two Radiohead CDs I own.

And I'm okay with that.

I took a listen to Kid A after hearing all the hype, and it did absolutely NOTHING for me. Which shouldn't surprise anyone, considering I'm not a big OK Computer fan.

However, I will admit to liking "Everything In Its Right Place," which has one of the coolest openings of any song I've ever heard.

The Bends!
The Bends!
The Bends!

If OK Computer is "awesome", The Bends is "awesome+1" IMO. Sure, OK Computer has a terrific opener, feels more like a complete album and has the perfect closer. But Planet Telex, The Bends, Fake Plastic Trees, Bones, Nice Dream, Just, Bulletproof, Black Star, Sulk, Street Spirit etc. too many fucking amazing songs on the Bends!

My baby's got the bends...

The Bends has better songs and songwriting while OK Computer is a more complete album. I love them both, but The Bends is more my style.

I could go without Fitter Happier though
