wink The Beatles' Tour of North America 1966

12 August International Amphitheatre, Chicago
13 August Olympia Stadium, Detroit
14 August Municipal Stadium, Cleveland
15 August Washington Stadium, Washington DC
16 August Philadelphia Stadium, Philadelphia
17 August Maple Leaf Gardens, Toronto
18 August Suffolk Downs Racecourse, Boston
19 August Mid-South Coliseum, Memphis
21 August Crosley Field, Cincinnati
21 August Busch Stadium, St Louis
23 August Shea Stadium, New York
25 August Seattle Coliseum, Seattle
28 August Dodger Stadium, Los Angeles
30 August Candlestick Park, San Francisco

If I'm not mistaken, this was their last tour ever. I have 2 questions.

1. Does anybody know how many Revolver songs they played on these shows? This tour started a week after Revolver was released.

2. Is there any way to catch these shows on vhs or dvd or even youtube?

I should ask my friend, she was at the Detroit show, but I'm not sure how much of that she'd remember, you know, from screaming and all.

I want to listen to/watch Revolver songs being performed live. (Who wouldn't?)

And all the Beatles live clips I've seen feature the early to mid 60s songs. I'm curious to know if they ever performed anything from Revolver!

A quick check through some Beatles sites shows that the following was the setlist for the 1966 North American tour:

Rock and Roll Music
She's A Woman
If I Needed Someone
Day Tripper
Baby's In Black
I Feel Fine
Yesterday
I Wanna Be Your Man
Nowhere Man
Paperback Writer
I´m Down

Their shows were always very short, so of course they were going to stick to the big hits.

Thanks Phanan. Damn, so no Revolver! Does it say if it was a static setlist for all the shows? Or is that from a specific show?

They usually played the same setlist for every show of a tour.

I'm guessing Axver wouldn't have been a Beatles fan back then.

I don't think Axver is a Beatles fan now either.

Are you asking what was the song before the Beatles went on stage?
