The Appreciation Of Great TV Characters

Who are your favorite characters from any type of show. Could be a comedy or a drama or even a cartoon.

Mine:

1. Al Swearengen from HBO's Deadwood. IMO the best character/villain on TV, great performance from Ian McShane.

2. Jack Bauer from 24.

3. John Locke from Lost
4. Homer Simpson
5. Seth Bullock from Deadwood

Notch Johnson of the little known Son Of The Beach.

I'm sure I'll come up with some others later.
