Just saw this on the Us Kids Know Message Board, and thought it would be fun here, though not very original a concept.

Just list your ten favorite albums of all time. Catch is you can only pick one album per artist. You may order then 1-10 or just list your top 10, doesn't matter.

I'll get things started.

AND, I'm very tempted to put Wilco - Yankee Hotel Foxtrot on this list, but I'm not right now just because I only discovered it 2 days ago and it's still growing on me. I've no doubt it will find its way on there eventually though.

Yes, yes I have. But I had to put something by the Arcade Fire on there, as they're easily in my top 5 bands of all time, maybe even higher, and since I've been listening to Neon Bible nonstop since it leaked, and I already love it more than Funeral...well, there you go.

You know, I'm trying to make a list to post here and it's really very hard. The thing is, I tend to think more in terms of any given band's body of music as a whole - that is, I have a VERY hard time picking just one record per artist.

I wouldn't make it very long without being able to hear both Golden Years and Sound And Vision.

Midnite Vultures however is a must, and Beck doesn't have a best of.

It's questionable, actually.
