I also found a great deal. A wonderful member here introduced me to Talk Talk. In fact, the album he mailed me kept playing in my head these past couple of days/nights. So prevent me from having even more sleepless nights, I bought some CDs today.

Tröckener Kecks.. they were a good band., but I liked The scene more..
I know Rick De leeuw is quite popular in belgium (appears a lot on Flemish Television) He is almost a mainstream figure over here.. But I like him..He can be very funny..
But like i said... The Scene were better.. Especially the album "Open"

Open is indeed an amazing album (I adore the title track) and overall The Scene were pretty good too. Also the first solo album by frontman Thé Lau is excellent (De God Van Nederland). He has just released his second album (De Tempel Der Liefde), but I haven't heard that one yet.
:)

haven't heard his solo album either.. But The Scene..
Aaaaaah.. Good memories.. they were the first "good" band I saw live when I was, I think 16 years old, around the time of Blauw (also an amazing album..)

but open is easily there best song...

Pretenders: Don't Get Me Wrong 14 Classic Tracks, which is an odd, expensive import with plenty of surface marks on it, but it has Cuban Slide on it! :hyper:

The Lightning Seeds - The Best Of
The Clash - From Here To Eternity
Oasis- The Masterplan

I think I'm holding out for that one. I'm not that much into live recordings anymore and I already have it on DVD. Still, it is an awesome concert.

Elvis Costello & The Attractions - Almost Blue (2CD reissue)

:hmm: I ordered another one at the same time. I wonder when I'll post again in this thread...

:)
