I saw the boxset in Boston for cheap.
And I bought it.
And some other CDs while I was in Boston.

Johnny Cash - The Legend (and yes, I realised that it doesn't have much stuff from his American Recordings series on it, so there's an excuse to buy some of those albums in the future :uhoh: )
The Kinks - The Ultimate Collection
Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers - Anthology: Through The Years

I also bought some used CDs:
Us3 - Hand On The Torch
V/A - Tower Of Song: The Songs Of Leonard Cohen

:reject:

P.S. That Johnny Cash boxset was 30 dollars at Newbury Comics (and $40 at Borders), which, converted, is about half of the price here in the Netherlands.

newbury comics

you realize what this means, right? when i'm in town today, i will have to fight off the extremely powerful urge to go into our newbury comics store and look for it.

Be warned, some of these will seem like conflicting interests in music. But then again, I'm weird and it will probably surprise no one. In the last week and a half:

John Lennon - Imagine
The Real McKenzies - Oot and Aboot
Shakira - Fijacion Oral Vol. 1
Shakira - Oral Fixation Vol. 2
Depeche Mode - The Singles 81>>85
Depeche Mode - The Singles 86>>98
Ryan Adams - 29

I think that's it... hmm...

i recently bought a bunch of old albums i should've had a long time ago but didn't for some reason... but i got them on sale. :)

the cure - disintegration
nirvana - nevermind
new order - (the best of) new order
flaming lips - yoshimi battles the pink robots
the bravery - the bravery
doves - some cities
red hot chili peppers - californication
