Achtung Baby certainly saved me from bad music and made me passionate about music in general.

Beck's Sea Change helped -- it was nice to know there was someone out there who actually felt much worse than you.

Radiohead's Kid A and Amnesiac helped me a lot in many ways.

And despite the fact I don't think Garbage is that great anymore, their first and second albums helped me SO much during my horrible year-long depression in 2002.

coldplay - a rush of blood to the head and doves - last broadcast has helped me alot over the past year. espeically satellites and the scientist.

and weezers island in the sun always makes me smile.

I used to listen to Bruce Springsteen's "Born in the USA" all the time when I was 18, living far away from home for the first time and feeling horribly lonely.

'eternal nightcap' by the whitlams and 'every tuesday, sometimes sunday' by bernie hayes have both saved my sanity at one point or another.

good thread. A lot of bowie and U2 has saved me. I can't name a perticular album as it is the music all around from those artists that has saved me.
