Thanks, it was a great day...and I didn't get cold until the 3rd period or so. I wish my team would have won Crosby

If anyone has ever doubted my gender I'd have to laugh...

Cool pic, senrab!

I'm actually a middle-aged man.

Here's a four year old photo of me attempting Canada's favourite game! (The key word being "attempting.")

Looking forward to tonight's game. May the Montreal curse come back to bite the Flyers in their collective arses.

I'd love to have gone to that game...hockey belongs outside See, Crosby beat your guys in that, another reason to root against his Pens. Plus, we've got some former Sabres on the Flyers

Don't remind me about the Sabres' former players on the Flyers. I will never and could never root for the Flyers. At the most, I will be happy for Marty Biron if they win it all and nothing else.

I like Marty a lot, most confidence I've had in a Flyers goaltender since they had Hextall the first time around...wow that's like 15 years

But yeah I get where Danny burned his bridges with you Sabres fans (but apparently they just love him in Montreal).

Danny is a nice guy but he wanted his big payday and management bungled it, as everyone in the NHL knows. But we got burned when Vanek signed the offer sheet from Edmonton and we had to keep him. No way we could afford 2 $10 million contracts in the same season.

Marty wanted a starting job after forever being in the shadows of Hasek and Miller. He was a fan favorite in Buffalo, but it was clear he would never be the permanent starter because Miller was clearly better than him at that time. So they dealt him in order to get something back. Also, he was the starter in the dark years (2002-2003) and he was terrible. Oh well. Hindsight is 20/20.

Me too

I'm rooting for the Flyers in this match - Crosby gets on my nerves and I figure it will make Montreal look better if they lost to a team that goes far!

p.s.: Why so many empty seats in Detroit last night? Is it like the ACC where corporate season-ticket holders don't bother going to all the games or did it just not sell out?

According to Grapes, it has to do with the lack of physical play by the Red Wings

Flyers-Penguins tis going to be a great series.

I like both teams. I know before I said I'd be going for Pittsburgh, but I really admire the Flyers game.. and I think they won't give up.

I blame the economy. Remember, this is the team that, at the start of the season, was advertising $8 seats.
