I guarantee the only reason Headache, Hewson and phanan are picking Seattle over LAA is that I'm on this board.

As per usual, you'd be quite wrong there John.
While I can't speak for the other 2 guys, for me the aquisition of Erik Bedard put the M's over the top in the division, with Felix Hernandez, its quite a formidable top of the rotation.
And since your team averages 0.007 runs per game, I just don't see you overcoming Seattle.

Really? Apparently you weren't paying attention last season, given that we were 4th in the AL in Runs scored, 4th in team batting average (just ahead of Boston ) and 3rd in team OBP.

This season we should be even better because we've got more depth where we really needed it - in the outfield. And that depth goes by the name "Torii."

Speaking of depth, even with Escobar and me sidelined for the next month with injuries, we've got a better starting five than most teams in baseball.

We're loaded this year, dude, loaded.

Boston plays regular season games then comes to LA and plays 3 exhibitions. Who's dumb idea was this?

Funny how taking JD 'I'm through' Drew out of a lineup always leads to addition through subtraction

I don't see how they just couldn't make them part of the interleague schedule for both teams, even if it's the beginning of the year. 100,000 expected to show up at the Coliseum - the least they could've done was make it a game that counted.

And let's not forget Carlos Silva. That rotation has the chance to be the best in the AL.

I've been saying this for weeks. Finally someone agrees with me.

Hell yes. When I'm not for the Mariners, I'm for Detroit (I'm going to the Detroit home game on June 29th when I'll be in Michigan). Loads of family from Michigan.

I can't imagine them making a game where the left field wall sits a mere 178 feet from home plate down the line a regular season game.

That's right, you designed that retractable roof for the Redskins. I forgot about that.
