A win for Ferrari and this time for Kimi. Hamilton still on the podium(but not as the winner this time) and Alonso was fighting but he didn't get very far.

1 K. Raikkonen
2 F. Massa
3 L. Hamilton
4 R. Kubica
5 N. Heidfeld
6 G. Fisichella
7 F. Alonso
8 J. Button

I can't believe what happened during that pitstop with Spyker. Albers made a stupid mistake, driving away before he got permission to. I guess he was just frustrated by Sutil or something.

I fell asleep. Again. Ah well, not much intersting happened.

Haha, that means Hamdog is 14 points up on Alonso now! Priceless.

I prefer Vansterdam but Hongcouver is probably more fitting...lol.

Well I definitely put F1 on the back burner to watch the Concert for Diana. I thought the power of F1 would take me over but as soon as I started watching the concert I was hooked. What a show.

The race was pretty boring and I didn't even watch the last 10 laps. Hammy gets another podium though....amazing!

Arrows were pretty awesome. Their later years livery was good, and I think they one a race with Damon Hill in 97.

But they were no Tyrrell Six-wheeled cars

Hill almost won in 97 but came second at the Hungarian GP due to car problems. He qualified P3 and was leading but his sick car slowed him down and JV passed him for the win. Amazing effort though.

Hill won with Jordan the following year. God I miss F1 in the 90s.

I miss the days when the cars actually occasionally overtook one another.

Silverstone Practice 1

1 L. Hamilton McLaren 1:21.100
2 K. Räikkönen Ferrari 1:21.211
3 F. Massa Ferrari 1:21.285
4 F. Alonso McLaren 1:21.675
5 N. Rosberg Williams 1:22.006

Practice 2

1 K. Räikkönen Ferrari 1:20.639
2 F. Massa Ferrari 1:21.138
3 R. Schumacher Toyota 1:21.381
4 L. Hamilton McLaren 1:21.381
5 J. Trulli Toyota 1:21.467
6 F. Alonso McLaren 1:21.616

Hammy is out performing Alonso again which makes me happy. The Toyota's and Williams' are looking quite good for this weekend and not surprisingly the Renaults are half way down the grid in both Practices.

I love it when Hamdog beats Alonso. Puts a smile on my face. It's his first season, so it'll be a while yet (I hope) before he turns into a prick

Did y'all read about McLaren apparently getting stripped of points for some reason?

Bernie had said that driver's points won't be touched and I think that goes with Constructors points as well. McLaren has said that no information went into the design of their cars but who knows what will happen.

LOL, I've got a Brundle quote from the race today. After Kimi came out in front after the last stop they showed the Ferrari mechanics watching the tv, one of them was this really short Italian mechanic. You know the guy. Brundle said this laughing -

"The face on the little guy at the front, he's so excited!"

Although it would be nice to see a top six other than Alonso, Hamstring, Massa, Raikkonen, Heidfeld and Kubica once in a while. I'd like to see Hondas and Toyotas and Red Bulls popping up there.
