Since I'm going to be there on the 3rd Day Of The Boxing Day Test, I actually Agree!

Come over to the dark side.

Though the English seem to be struggling ... I wonder just how long this last wicket stand can actually last?

However, even if this ends really soon, if the English can hold Australia to a second innings total similar to the first innings one, England's final innings will be exciting as all hell.

Not much longer, evidently! I think I made that comment when England were 9/211, and they were dismissed for 215.

But now Australia's in and already down a wicket at 1/13. This is absolutely a bowler's wicket. Let's see if England's bowling attack fires again ...

Edit: Wow, I just took a closer look at the scorecard and it turns out Langer was out first ball of the Aussie second innings! Now THAT is what I call a good start for England. Now, come on, build on it!

WTF. How could England let Australia get from 1/0 to 1/119?!

Aw well. Even if we lose this one we're bound to win next year!

There is nothing worse than meaningless cricket.

This is drifitng towards meaninglessness.

Poor, poor, poor.

Hussey gets yet another boundary. Where have Australia been hiding this guy?

That said I think Geraint Jones is as good a keeper as Read, it's just his batting is awful. Read's not much better though.

What's Jack Russell up to these days, he'd do a job.

What the hell is wrong with the English team? This game was within their grasp, it could have been a thrilling competition, and they've just let it slip away. If they let Australia score just 100 more runs - and I don't know how they plan to avoid that - then this game might as well be over.

England are missing Gary Pratt, I tell you.

Bring back Pratt.

Edit: Gilchrist is ruining Monty's figures.

As someone who is more or less supporting England, this is extremely painful.

From the BBC website:
"Has an Ashes series ever been curtailed on humanitarian grounds?"

Wow, England's seriously snatched defeat from the jaws of potential victory here.

I can't wait for the Boxing Day Dead Rubber! Talk about stripping all meaning from the best test of the year!

Harmison's was worse than Monty's, which no one seemed to pay much attention to. Poor bloke, they'll be calling for his blood in the pommie press after this.
