Will Ferrell hosted Saturday Night Live, (American T.V. show) the musical guest was Queens of the Stone Age.

I heard their song, "Little Sister"?, on the radio, and there's a noticeable cowbell in their song, and every time, I immediately think of the SNL sketch of the Behind the Music spoof on Blue Oyster cult.

If you've seen this, (which many have), you know what I'm talking about.

Anyway, as they were playing, "Little Sister" ? Will Ferrell comes out, dressed like the guy from Blue Oyster Cult and plays the cowbell during it!

That was probably one of the most random things I've seen on the show since....Will Ferrell left actually

I guess they had a fever, and the only cure, was more cowbell
