One luxury / curse of iTunes is is that when you're sitting there and you remember an album you've always meant to get, just a couple of clicks and you can just get it. (I always draw a blank in a record store.) Marquee Moon is one of those albums I've always meant to get and finally remembered to. And it is well worth it. You can really hear the roots of so much in there.

Amazing album. A shame the band never charted well and disappeared.

Their disappearance was a Godsend, although Marquee Moon is indeed a damn fine record.

Have you heard Adventure, though? It's what we call "unlistenably embarrassing."

great band ... i saw them 1977 at the TO ACT club in Weissenohe near the city of Nuremberg / Germany ... i have MARQUEE MOON on vinyl ... without the guitar sound of TELEVISION there would never happened the EDGE sound... TELEVISION is one of U2s major influences.
