Do you have any shows you'd be loathe to admit to others that you watch?

I don't watch daytime tv at all, think it's all awful, but if I'm home and in front of the tv in the early evening, I love watching Judge Judy. Seriously.

Wtf is wrong with me? :reject:

Confess your tv sins, and make me feel less lame.

I watch many of those reality shows on MTV and just have to laugh. I also love to watch the game shows and shout out the answers and yell at the contestants when they don't guess the right answers or laugh when their answers are wrong.

I usually don't feel guilty about any of my pleasures, but ...

Rock of Love
America's Next Top Model
Lifetime movies (but only on afternoons when I'm home sick - I don't know why, but that's the way it has to be)

I watch "Judge Judy", too, as well as the occasional other court shows out there. When we first moved here, that was pretty much all we could watch during the day until we got our other channels hooked up, so it got kinda addicting :p. Ditto to daytime TV (though I just watch one soap off and on-"All My Children") and "Boy Meets World".

Then of course there's "American Idol" and "Dancing With The Stars", and I also watch "Full House" reruns sometimes.

I don't feel guilty about American Idol.

It's required watching for someone as fascinated by pop culture as I am.

It's research, I tell ya. Research!

You watched Rock of Love too? :hi5: :reject:

You know that the girl he chose was only in it for the publicity? :tsk:

I'm shocked ... SHOCKED ... that someone was on a reality show just for their own benefit.

I mean CLEARLY all those other girls were there because they really, truly loved Bret Michaels.

I LOVE MAURY!! My favourite episodes are the cheaters (of course), fat babies and the ones where people are scared of pickles and mustard and balloons...

I would have to say for me I watch a lot of those stupid home improvement and makeover shows which really serve no purpose but I'm a sucker for a good before and after...

I admit it all the time: softcore porn productions by Playboy Channel, especially those starring Monique Parent, Angela Davies, Delia Sheppard, and other actresses that can pass for somewhat sophisticated compared to the hardcore pornstars they employ nowadays who speak with an annoying California dialect. (It helps, though to watch the Canadian French dubbing which always sounds more sophisticated and makes it difficult to follow the surely awful plot.)

I really miss Canal + soft porn which is much more sophisticated in that it avoids pairing violence with sex and is much more sensual. I only got that in Montreal.

-Also, The O.C. mostly for the humor.

-For a while I didn't tell anyone I watched Buffy because it's quite superficial, though I found it funny and connected to the friendship drama.

-"Deal or No Deal" with Howie Mandel just for the gorgeous women!

-Bam Margera, even though I hate the guy and how he treats people. It's those blue eyes......

-With my mother, I sorta used to enjoy watching "Grey's Anatomy" and would still be wiling to watch "Gilmore Girls", and the original "Trading Spaces" because of the hot host Alex McLeod.

Oh, I forgot about that one. I was so bored over the summer and needed something forgettable to do pushups to, so I actually did watch Smallville on syndication over the summer. It was pretty awful, but I liked Lex Luthor and his father was the only great actor on the show. I couldn't believe how bad an actor Tom Welling was, though. Even composer Mark Snow is just going through the motions, despite doing amazing work on The X-Files.
